LifeOS legal
Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 6, 2026
1. Who is responsible
LifeOS is provided by magiclabs GmbH, Rosengarten 9, 49456 Bakum, Germany, represented by Managing Director Mike Koene. For privacy questions or requests, email mike@magiclabs.dev.
2. Data stored by LifeOS
LifeOS stores the information you enter—including journal responses, goals, visions, reminders, streaks, and progress—locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.
This version does not create an account, upload your journal content to a magiclabs server, or synchronize your content through iCloud. Deleting the app removes its locally stored data unless you separately exported a copy.
3. On-device AI Coach
On compatible Apple Intelligence devices, LifeOS uses Apple's on-device Foundation Models framework to generate coaching responses and weekly-plan suggestions. Prompts and responses used by this feature are processed on the device by Apple's system model and are not sent to magiclabs.
The AI Coach can use the vision, anti-vision, streak, level, and goals stored in LifeOS as context. AI responses may be inaccurate and are provided for general reflection and planning, not as medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.
4. Purchases and RevenueCat
Apple processes App Store purchases and payment information. LifeOS uses RevenueCat to verify subscription and lifetime-purchase status. RevenueCat processes a randomly generated anonymous app user ID and purchase history for receipt validation, entitlement functionality, and purchase analytics.
magiclabs does not receive your full payment-card details, and the anonymous app user ID is not connected to an account or contact information in LifeOS. Review RevenueCat's privacy policy and Apple's privacy policy.
5. Notifications and exports
If you grant notification permission, LifeOS schedules reminders through Apple's local notification system. Reminder configuration stays on your device.
LifeOS exports your information only when you deliberately use an export or share action. You choose the destination and are responsible for the copy after it leaves LifeOS.
6. Analytics, advertising, and tracking
LifeOS does not include advertising SDKs, cross-app tracking, or third-party product analytics in this version. magiclabs does not sell your personal data.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal data. Because journal and goal content is stored locally, you can view or delete it within the app or remove it by deleting the app.
For information connected with purchase support or an email you sent us, contact mike@magiclabs.dev. You may also lodge a complaint with a competent data protection authority. Our competent authority is the State Commissioner for Data Protection of Lower Saxony, Germany.
8. Security and changes
We design LifeOS to minimize data collection and rely on Apple's platform security for local app storage and on-device AI. No method of storage is completely risk-free, so keep your device protected.
We may update this policy when LifeOS changes. The current version will remain available at this URL.
